In addition, the new class Caller has been brought into the game, along with a new race. Besides these two highlights, there are new areas, dungeons, raids, and of course, completely new story content.

Why is it worth playing in 2023? Even after many years on the market, World of Warcraft is still a rock-solid MMORPG that can score points with one thing in particular: the sheer amount of tasks.
The release of the latest expansion, “Dragonflight,” was already a few months ago, and the first patches have already been released. The expansion is praised from all directions, and Blizzard’s MMORPG seems to be on a good path again. Gone are the days of mandatory tasks, and finally, players can freely decide what they want to do. However, there is criticism of some systems, such as “Mythic+,” which slowly needs to be renewed.
The choice of tasks is quite wide: besides the new feature of dragon riding, there are quite a few factions that want your attention. Whether you’re fishing for the Tuskarr or completing absurd cooking events, or climbing cliffs and picking up hidden treasure for the Expeditions. You have a lot of choices in Dragonflight, and none of it feels forced because very little is tied to player power.
Combined with the expansion of professions and the “new old” talent system, WoW with Dragonflight is worth a look for veterans and newcomers alike.
WoW has yet to deliver on its promise to bring a total of 6 content patches in 2023 – that hadn’t worked out in the past. But most are confident because with Dragonflight, the developers have “delivered” so far.
