Vivo’s spin-off iQOO just unveiled its new midranger, the iQOO Z5, which is part of the company’s Z-series portfolio. The iQOO Z5 is the natural successor to the iQOO Z3, which was released six months ago. The Snapdragon 778G SoC, a larger 5,000mAh battery, a 6.67-inch 120Hz screen, and other features are touted for the sequel. iQOO Z5 – Specifications
The iQOO Z5 arrived in India this week, with a price tag that falls into the mid-range category. So, on the front, we get a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen, but unlike the previous iQOO Z3, this time the Z-series phone has a punch-hole panel instead of a dew drop notch. The Snapdragon 778G chipset is at the heart of the smartphone, which runs FuntouchOS 12 on top of Android 11.
The new iQOO Z5 starting model comes with 8GB of RAM that can be upgraded to 12GB, as well as 128GB and 256GB of storage. In terms of optics, the iQOO Z5 has a triple-lens camera module on the rear panel, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro camera with all of the necessary camera capabilities. The smartphone also has a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies. The smartphone has a physical fingerprint scanner that is housed in the iQOO Z5’s power button.
The newest mid-range smartphone from iQOO comes with a 5,000mAh battery and 44W FlashCharge capability. Arctic Dawn and Mystic Space are the official color choices for the smartphone.
